Letter from Kathleen Raine to David Foll, dated 10 February 1972. Written in response to a letter from DF to KR [his outgoing letter is not extant] just after he had attended a reading she gave at his Cambridge college [Churchill] from which he recalls her 'striking presence'. She thanks him for his 'beautiful letter' and advises him not to be intimidated in his ambitions by the 'hard-edged world'. She mentions that she will be giving a paper on Gerard Manley Hopkins in March.
