Scope and Contents
Three letters from A Fowler to 'Nurse' about the care of her children, 12 March 1862, 13 February 1863 and 9 March 1863, together with transcripts. ['Nurse' was Elizabeth Clayton, later Pepper, mother of Beatrice and Edith Clayton Pepper. She became a nurse / governess when her mother and two siblings died of TB and she was advised to leave the area.] Also a letter in French from Clara to Catherine, addressed from Paris to Lille, 19 October 1863, connection unknown.
