Scope and Contents
Includes an undated note on the letters from C M Ridding to the then Librarian, Ethel Fegan. Most of the letters are from Sanskrit scholars but there is one from Edmund Gosse on behalf of the Omar Khayyam Club, 1896.

Girton 1883-1886, read Classics but a Sanskrit and Pali Scholar. First woman to be officially employed in Cambridge University Library in [1890?]. She was instrumental in obtaining a proportion of the library of Professor E B Cowell for Girton College and she arranged and catalogued the books herself.
