2019 - Girton College 150th Anniversary 'Rhythms of Girton Life 1869-2019' scarf, 2019
Scope and Contents
Silk crepe back satin scarf designed by Una Ryan. It is based on work conducted as part of her PhD thesis on circadian rhythms. The main design is composed using an electron micrograph of insect neurosecretory cells and a satellite image of the Okavango River in southwest Africa. The border is designed from a stained-glass window at Girton.
Includes a presentation box and an information leaflet about the scarf. Sold for £60.00 when first designed.
