Scope and Contents
Typescript, 158 pages, privately printed circa 1992, by Iris Gaddum. One bound copy, one unbound copy. The reminicences include a description of her early life, time at Girton (Natural Sciences Tripos), medical training and career as a doctor.
Also includes copy photographs, printed from scans onto A4 paper, showing: two photographs of Laura Harmer, née Howell, mother of Iris, who came up to Girton in 1885; a photograph of Iris's wedding in Melbourn, 1929; two photographs of Iris; a photograph of Iris and her youngest daughter, Phyllis, at her eldest daughter's, Susan, wedding, 1955; and a photograph of Iris aged ninety mending a chair at a craft fair. Includes a handwritten name key.

Phyllis Champion, daughter of Iris Harmer and Clare Champion, grand-daughter of Iris Champion verbally transferred the copyright in the reminiscences to Girton College.

Iris Harmer gave the bound copy to the Library in 1992. The second copy and the photographs were given to the Archive by Phyllis Champion, daughter of Iris Harmer, September 2014.
