Scope and Contents
This sub-section contains papers relating to P D James’ series of fourteen detective novels based on her character Commander Adam Dalgliesh, written between 1962 and 2008. They include drafts, publicity materials, reviews and papers relating to television adaptations. They are arranged chronologically by date of publication (GCPP James 2/2/1 to GCPP James 2/2/14), followed by GCPP James 2/2/15, which comprises papers relating to Anglia TV adaptations of the first ten books in the series.
