1 page letter, together with envelope addressed to Madame Belloc, La Celle St Cloud, par Bougival, Seine et Oise, France, and a 2 page transcript of the letter. Mary hopes that Bessie and her children will go to Rome this winter. She speaks favourably of Marie Belloc’s story in ‘Merrie England’. She is proud that Bessie speaks of Marie as Mary’s ‘spiritual grandchild’. Nanna Leigh Smith and Isabella Blythe are arriving in a fortnight. She asks Bessie to let her know if she is coming too.
