On the omnibus into Christchurch a soldier was boasting about his drinking exploits. She finds Lady Shelley better than she was. Printing [of the English Woman's Journal] will begin again when she gets back to London. She likes most but not all of the article written by Max [Matilda Hays] on the British soldier.
