File contains:
1) 'Report of the Council of the Senate on Societies for graduates', Cambridge University Reporter 13 June 1963;
2) request from Society of Women Members to Council for recognition as a Collegiate Society, 3pp duplicated typescript, 24 July 1963, with reply from the University Registrary, 2 August 1963 (the Registrary noted the Council had received the Society's request with sympathy and felt, given University approval, it should be possible to establish a Collegiate Society on the lines suggested);
3) minutes of business meeting 26 November 1963;
4) note to members from Anna Bidder, Chairman, concerning the Duke of Devonshire's permission to use the name of Lucy Cavendish for the proposed collegiate society, also concerning arrangements for dining at Harvey Court, Caius College, with a generous subsidy from Caius, 3 January 1964.
