Scope and Contents
Rita Nightingale was imprisoned by the Thai authorities for allededly smuggling heroin. The campaign mounted by the Rita Nightingale Society helped win her release in 1980.
The file contains correspondence, including letters to Dorothy Needham from Robert Rhodes James, MP for Cambridge, and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office; together with background material on the case.
