23 black and white photographs and 12 colour snaps of the interior of 12 Bulstrode Gardens, taken in 1981 by Joyce Edwards (d. 2024; a friend of Q D Leavis' daughter, Kate Varney), together with notes about the furnishing of the rooms portrayed made by Kate Varney in 2008. The photographs include a black and white photograph of a memorial plaque to F R Leavis by a tree in the garden. The notes mention that the photographs were taken within a few days of the death of Q D Leavis, while the house was still intact. The notes also include brief notes on the buliding of 12 Bulstrode Gardens and later extensions to it.
