File of correspondence and papers concerning renewed interest in the case of the murder of Julia Wallace in Liverpool on 20 January 1931. Including: drafts of an article by P D James entitled ‘The Murder of Julia Wallace’, written for the Sunday Times in 2013; related correspondence with Carol Heaton [PDJ's literary agent]; and post-publication correspondence with various including Brian Checkland of Wirral, who ‘grew up’ with the case and knew some of the people involved, and with Henrietta Amodio concerning the publication of an abridged version in the Yearbook of the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple, 2014.
