The series contains 1 file each for the first 10 adaptations, arranged chronologically by the date of screening, together with a file of general papers and correspondence relating to the series. The files contain colour publicity brochures and press packs; press releases; previews; press cuttings and reviews; correspondence with literary agents; correspondence with Anglia Television Limited concerning location, screenplay, rehearsals, filming, publicity, transmission etc; and glossy black and white press photographs (chiefly 24cm x 19cm) of cast members, including photographs of P D James and cast members (some are formal individual portraits, some are photographs taken on set).
