Photographs of P D James, 1990 - 2010
Scope and Contents
Twenty-five photographs of PDJ (24 colour, 1 black and white), all taken for publicity purposes. Various sizes, the largest being 24cm x 18cm, the smallest being 15cm x 10cm. Mostly head and shoulders, some three quarter figure, one full figure. Mostly unattributed, but a few photographers are identified: the black and white photograph is by Jerry Bauer of Rome; two of the colour photographs are accompanied by a letter from Joy Gordon to PDJ, reporting on a private view evening, 2006; three are by Ulla Montan of Stockholm; and one shows PDJ next to a portrait of her (artist unknown).
