Scope and Contents
Written at Girton and Fordfield and in Italy. After various May Week activities in Cambridge, including the Trinity College Ball (press cuttings pasted in), Alethea spends late June to late September in Italy, briefly in Bologna, then in Cortina, then in Bergullo. While in Cortina, a relationship develops between Alethea and a Professor Neri. Most of the diary concerns this relationship, together with descriptions of various excursions.
