Holiday diary written at Grandcamp, Calvados, France. Describes their hosts, the Erlande family. Alethea's interest lies with Gilbert (Gilo) aged 17, 'possibly the most attractive member' of the family. Home via Bayeux. At back: photographs of the holiday, including 'L'oncle Bob' (Robert Baudouin) - 'the universal uncle, a bachelor'; Jean Vaux and the Erlande family, also Villa des Osiers, where they stayed. Also a photograph of W Owston Smith, family friend, 1925.
