Brunet to Mr Dunlop, 1817
Scope and Contents
Three communications with James Dunlop: a receipt, a letter (folded, addressed and sealed), and a certificate contained within outer wrapper (addressed and sealed).
Receipt for 1100 francs for a bronze figurine of Bonaparte sitting at a table. Dated Paris, 20 January 1817.
Letter requesting Mr Dunlop to change his appointment from noon to 2 p.m.

Note to Mr Dunlop enclosing the certificate of authenticity he requested. Dated Paris, 18 February 1817
The certificate, in a different hand, states that the figurine was made in 1809 by M Moutoni, and that 5 copies exist: 3 belong to the Emperor, 1 to Mr Devon (?) of Paris, and 1 to Mr Dunlop of London.
