Gilbert Newton to Mr Dunlop, 1827 - 1828
Scope and Contents
Two letters (one folded into triangle, the other folded, seal missing and franked) to James Dunlop. The first (undated) is about an exchange of cigars, the second, 12 November 1828 is in thanks for JD's congratulations on his election [Associate Royal Academician]. The 'Peter' in the post scriptum of this letter is Peter Powell.
With these letters is a folded sheet of verses [possibly to JCG] signed G S Newton, Russell Square 1827.
