Folder labelled 'Nigeria NP school' containing the following:
1) 3 drafts of an article 'Women in Northern Nigeria' for the Girton Review Michaelmas Term 1954. Manuscript; typescript with numerous annotations and signed 'E S Fegan March 1954'; and a further typescript;
2) Partial manuscript for a book, 'African adventures of an amateur educationalist'. There are 3 pages of manuscript notes 'suggested chapters for book' and what appear to be five distinct sections: an introduction; 'Daily life of women'; 'Portraits'; 'The children'; 'By-products', some paginated. It is difficult to date, some sections were obviously written in about 1935, but revisited later.
