Two copies of the same report written by Ethel Fegan, one bound and one looseleaf. Also known as her 'Gilchrist Report', this is Ethel Fegan's account of women's education in the then British colonies on the West Coast of Africa: Nigeria, Gold Coast, Sierra Leone and Gambia. She made a year's tour of these areas August 1928 - August 1929 collecting data about the types of people, statistics of population and schools, historical and present problems in education, the curriculum, and the need for teachers.
