[The draft title for this article was originally 'Building a Room of Their Own in the House of History: Interwar Historians of Women'.] Paper on Alice Clark, Eileen Power and Ivy Pinchbeck, including the following: 3 early undated drafts; 19pp ts paper, with ms corrections and additions, as given to a Women's Studies course, no date; proposal for a paper and copy of the paper itself, as presented to the North American Conference on British Studies November 1988, together with related papers and correspondence. Also notes on the writings of Eileen Power and copies of some of EEP's articles, including: The Teaching of History and World Peace, 1921; A Plea for the Middle Ages, 1922; The Position of Women, 1926; On Medieval History as a Social Study, 1934; and Peasant Life and Rural Conditions (c. 1100 to c. 1500), 1932.
