Cuttings, poems etc, as follows:
Letter addressed from Paris to ‘Madame Skelton’, in Elstree, Herts, August 1923, in French: the letter thanks Gladys Skelton for having taken trouble with a manuscript; the writer goes on to refer to 'ton amour pour Herman', also to 'un événement - - - en Hollande [qui] a contribué à un sentiment spécial pour toi' . The signature is unclear, but the writer is male, possibly Francis? [Bendit?];
Obituaries for Joseph Conrad, cut from the Observer and the Daily Mail, August 1924;
Obituary for Herman Moroney, one-time head of the Touring Department of the R.A.C., no date;
Three manuscript poems - undated, 20 July 1914, and 23 May 1915;
Typescript poem entitled ‘A Nightingale’, undated.
