Scope and Contents
The file comprises chiefly letters to Laura Seddon thanking her for hospitality, for organising events (particularly dinners) for M A C U W, and for her work for the Association in general. Correspondents include Eleanor Pemberton, Mary Cartwright, Joanne Kelly, Lady Simon of Wythenshawe, and Margaret Laurence.

Balance sheet for M A C U W as at 31 December 1991, dated 6 November 1992;
Newspaper cutting entitled ‘Girton and Newnham Old Students: Annual Manchester Dinner’ concerning funds needed for renovations and extensions at both colleges. Dr M L Cartwright, Mistress of Girton and Professor E M Butler of Newnham College were guests of honour (no date - 1960s?).
