Letters from F E Cave to Laura Seddon, 1945 - 1946
Scope and Contents
Two letters addressed from London SW2. One letter is dated V J Day [August 1945], the other 4 August 1946. The letters talk of wartime bomb damage, return to normal after the war, children returning from evacuation, new buildings going up on bomb sites etc. She mentions Constance Sykes (Girton 1928, mathematics, teaching at Cambridge County Girls’ School as at 1945).
