Scope and Contents
1) 'At Girton': photocopy of an anonymous ms poem consisting of four four-line verses, about various Girton women, including 'little Joan', 'stout Melinda', shy Phyllis', Lovely Kathleen', 'Don Cave' [Frances Cave-Brown-Cave] and, in verse four, 'Then medical Hilda, a lady rare, For her what would man not dare?' [Hilda Gosling], no date - circa 1918?;
2) Photocopy of a verse written on Girl Guides headed paper: 'The girl in whose bed I've been sleeping, Must accept warm thanks & my greeting, For I loved her nice rooms, but we're going tomorrow, and we part from the College with envy and sorry, We leave beautiful Girton a' weeping, Agnes Baden-Powell April 4th 1919' [written for Hilda Gosling?].
