Letter written by Eileen Power to 'Sir Matthew' [no surname given], concerning a new history book which she is sending him. Addressed from 20 Mecklenburgh Square, dated Dec 20 but no year given. [The letter was found in a library in Florida inside a copy of 'Diary of a Scotch gardener at the French court at the end of the eighteenth century', by Thomas Blaikie, edited and with an introduction by Francis Birrell, published by Routledge & Sons, London, 1931.]

Immediate Source of Acquisition
Found in 'Diary of a Scotch gardener at the French court at the end of the eighteenth century', by Thomas Blaikie in the Library of Jones College, Florida. The book came to Jones College from the University of New Orleans. Donated by Ted Hornoi-Centerwall, Jones College Librarian, May 2011.
