She thanks him for taking the trouble to write; Bessie, Louis and the baby came yesterday; all well; quiet passage from Dieppe; the baby is a ‘splendid little specimen’ (the letter consists almost entirely of a description of the ‘baby’ [Marie Belloc]). Original letter together with typescript copy [date of typescript unknown].
