Notes originally contained in hardback looseleaf notebook labelled on front cover ‘Old Part II lectures (1st lot)’ and on spine ‘III’. Contains manuscript lecture notes on muscle contraction (latest bibliographical reference 1940). Loose manuscript notes are enclosed at front of book. At back, an untitled 14pp and typescript draft beginning ‘During the last 100 years, there has been an enormous amount of work on the biochemistry of muscle’, January 1954, annotated ‘Manchester’.
