French prose translation, 1925
Scope and Contents
These papers were found in an envelope addressed to Mrs Malik, 4 Regent’s Terrace, L[ondon]. Each of the two files contains a numbered series of prose translations (English into French), including printed copies of the English source text and E B’s handwritten French translations, together with some printed French translations [presumably model answers]. Most are signed ‘E C Barker, Girton’ and most are heavily marked and annotated in pencil, presumably by the person who set the exercises.
