Letters of 21 and 31 March, 5, 11, 13 and 20 April 1887, and part of a letter of April [1887] are addressed to Florence and Rome, Italy, where Margaret was travelling with Emily [?Booth]; The letters of 31 March and 13 April were found unopened. 5 April was written by Crompton Llewelyn Davies. 11 April was sent from Balliol College, Oxford, where Mary was staying with Maurice, who was ill. 20 April reads ‘There is great desire for yr. reappearance here & at the Harrow League’.
