Lorca, 1967 - 1973
Scope and Contents
Notes by Helen Grant on the work of Lorca, mostly handwritten, some typescript, chiefly for lectures? The file also contains three letters, as follows:
From the University of Cambridge Board of Extra-Mural Studies, 9 May 1967, asking H G if she is willing to give a lecture on Lorca at a course for technical managers at IBM to be held at Churchill College;
From ‘RMN’, 15 January 1973, thanking her for a copy of her work on ‘El mundo al reves’ (The World Upside Down) and discussing Lorca’s ‘Bodas de Sangre’ (Blood Wedding), in Spanish;
From David Carson (‘Collins as was’) at the Leeds Playhouse (no date), asking for H G’s comments on his translation of a Spanish play [presumably Lorca? but not specified].
