[The Norwich and East Anglian Branch of the Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese was begun in 1975 as an offshoot of the London Branch. Helen Grant was an active member.]
File contains correspondence and papers relating to the work of the Association, including: papers relating to Spanish prose and verse speaking competitions for school children, lectures, Vth and VIth form days, and meetings concerning the teaching of languages in schools and school syllabuses for Spanish. File includes letters from Molly Twemlow, Hon Secretary, and some letters from schoolteachers re the competitions and re teaching of Spanish in schools in Cambridge and elsewhere; also a list of schools in the Cambridgeshire area teaching Spanish, circa 1976.
