Letter from J M Horsbrugh, UCL, to ED, 23 April 1888, re the first ladies elected life-governors of UCL; letter from Mrs D M Chapman, Encyclopedia Britannica, to ED, 16 Dec. 1920, requesting biographical information on ED, in particular her date of election as a life-governor of UCL; 2 letters from B G Greg, UCL, to Miss M S Kilgour, 22 and 31 Jan 1921, informing her that ED was elected a life-governor in 1873, also giving a list of others elected at the same time.
