Scope and Contents
2 copies of flysheet together with 18 letters from places in England, Scotland, Wales and Guernsey asking for information about medical study and opportunities for women, mostly addressed to Miss [Emily] Davies, some at least in response to advertisements in the Saturday Review of 19 and 26 July 1862 and the Athenaeum of 12, 19 and 26 July 1862, inviting 'ladies who may be desirous of qualifying themselves for the Medical Profession' to obtain information on 'the prescribed course of study and the opportunities at present available' from ED.
