Two short typescript memoirs compiled by Ena Burton:
1) ‘Wartime Memories’, 1 page typescript with handwritten annotations and amendments, chiefly concerning problems of the blackout, rations etc at Girton;
2) ‘Wartime Teaching’, 2 page typescript with handwritten annotations and amendments, concerning her first teaching post with Dame Allan’s Girls’ School, Newcastle upon Tyne, during its period of wartime evacuation to Ambleside.
