Letter from BB requesting Mrs Mudie's signature on the petition for the admission of women to the suffrage, 18 May 1866; together with covering letter from P B Tillyard to Dame Mary Cartwright, 4 Oct 1950, explaining that the enclosed letter is from BB to Mrs Tillyard's grandmother [Mrs Mudie, wife of the founder of Mudie's Library] and offering the letter to Girton College.
