Petition by the students [see B413]; Miss Bulley being allowed to defer examination until 1874 depending on it. Committee resolution against the petition. Support for the girls, although suggests that 'their distress and vexation lead them into some transcient injustice towards Miss Davies'. Students' complaints about Miss Davies regarding Cambridge as 'the ideal of ideals, defects included'.
