24 postage stamps together with a note initialled M B W which reads ‘I think some of these are wartime stamps from the German occupation of Russia etc - given me by a German officer (A Danst / Dienst?) in 1946 (when I was in BAOR)’. The stamps appear to be from Russia, Germany, Austria and Czechoslovakia, including German stamps overwritten with large sums from the period of wartime inflation.
