Research notes and lectures were packed [by Dorothy Marshall] into envelopes, in most cases without any apparent organisation. However, some had obviously been arranged and labelled, possibly by a secretary in Cardiff with the initials LW. A few envelopes were labelled by DM and where this was the case her labels have been kept. Some lectures were pinned together with a title page, though others lack any kind of heading. A number exist as loose pages without a beginning or end.
