In a supplement to a CV dated 1968, a year before her death, Dr Crews referred to a folder labelled Research Projects: - 'These are non-medical and are mainly concerned with my interest in the influence exercised, phonologically and semantically, by French on English'. The papers listed in this section would appear to comprise the projects thus referred to, though the only item on which she would appear to have produced recorded results is her study of the English adjective 'gaunt' (see GCPP Crews 7/1). The other items in this section were presumably intended to form the basis of various research projects.
