Rosemary Bishop had a lifelong interest in travel, which appears to have begun with a trip to Greece organised by her for herself and fellow students while at Girton College. Diaries of various of her trips were found among her papers: most of these appear to consist of typed versions of letters written to her parents while on her travels, thus they probably duplicate some of the letters listed at GCPP Bishop 2/1. They have, however, been kept and listed here for convenience. This section also includes a diary written by her mother, Gertrude Bishop, recording a trip to the USA in 1959.
