Personal Papers of Cicely Ford, Honoria Ford and Evelyn Macdonald, 1948 - 2014

 Fonds
Reference Code: GBR/0271/GCPP Ford

Scope and Contents

The papers listed here are a small miscellany of personal and biographical materials relating to the two Ford sisters and to Evelyn Macdonald, to whom they were related by marriage: all three studied at Girton College in the late 19th century (Honoria's years at Girton continuing into the early 20th century). They comprise brief biographies of all three; also letters written by Cicely to her great niece Jane Robson in 1954 when the latter went to Girton; and reminiscences of Girton written by Honoria. They have been listed together as GCPP Ford for convenience in order to retain the connections between the three. See the individual entries for GCPP Ford 1-3 below for further detail.
