Scope and Contents
Collection of invitation cards received by Yvonne Boyle during her Girton years. Chiefly invitations from fellow students, at Girton and other colleges, to social events including birthday celebrations, 'at homes' and dinners. Also an invitation to the Girton College Founders' Memorial Lecture, 1975, given by Professor Archibald Cox, and an invitation to a Girton College Ten-Year Dinner on 30 September 1988.

Biographical / Historical
Yvonne Boyle came to Girton in 1972 where she studied Archaeology and Anthropology (Part I) and Social and Political Sciences (Part II). She took a Postgraduate Diploma in Social Work at the University of Ulster in 1987 and an M.Phil at the University of Ulster in 1993. She went onto to become a Social Worker, as well as a Councillor, and was Deputy Mayor of Coleraine Borough Council in 2014-2015.
