Scope and Contents
File contains: lists of PLTF subscribers and subscriptions, 1935-48. Typescript and handwritten. Much annotated by hand. Also the following:
Some letters to subscribers, 1949, encouraging them to subscribe to the Society for Promoting the Training of Women after the amalgamation of the PLTF with the Society;
Some records of loans and repayments, chiefly 1940s;
List of names and addresses of other loan funds, including SPTW, the Professional Classes Aid Association, and the Central Bureau.
