'Summer School for Working Women 1947': report, 1947
Scope and Contents
Four page typescript report (student names not given) giving geographical distribution of students, occupations, ways in which they had heard of the school (mostly WEA or Women's Institutes), reasons for applying, differences between the 1945 and the 1947 Summer Schools, course content, excursions, and comment on the success of the Summer School. The report notes that a magnolia tree was presented to Girton College by the 1947 students.
