Issue 1) an interview with Dora Russell and articles on the Lesbian Novel, women and cabaret, and black women in Britain;
Issue 3) interviews with Grace Paley, US author, and Keri Hulme, Booker Prize winning author of The Bone People; article on feminism and science fiction; and a tribute to Winnie Mandela;
Issue 5) articles on women bodybuilders, on Madonna (singer), and on the cult of the woman author; autobiographical fragment by the poet Anna Wickham; and an interview with Toni Morrison, Afro-American author;
