The records listed here include minutes; newsletters; correspondence; promotional material; members' writings, posters and photographs; and papers relating to individual campaigns and initiatives organised by the Cambridge Women's Liberation Group. They are arranged broadly chronologically (additional deposits, however, have had to be added towards the end of the list regardless of date).
The CWLG newsletters, 1973-86, at GCIP CWLA 0/6, provide a detailed insight into the nature and activities of the group. A handful of papers produced by Cambridge women's groups other than the Cambridge Women's Liberation Group and its sub-groups have also been included here: this reflects the degree of overlap in membership and interests between the various women's groups active in Cambridge at the time.
