This section contains notes on Roma Wilson’s unpublished poetry and the poems themselves. The notes, compiled by Annie Bartlett [GCPP Wilson 3/1], suggest that at least some of the poems might have been published around 1930, but for Roma’s early death. She also notes that the three ‘tranches’ of poems, which were handed down through the family, have been kept essentially in the batches and the order in which they were received. Most of them survive in several forms: original typescripts; sets of photocopies (which are not always identical to the original typescripts); and sets typed up by Annie Bartlett, each of which begins with a photograph of Roma on the title page and includes additional editorial material by AB: all are listed at GCPP Wilson 3/2 – 3/5 below. The titles of individual poems are repeated in most of the catalogue entries for the purposes of comparison.
