Correspondence and papers relating to Sheila Jefferies’ graduate studies at Smith College, including bills for tuition fees etc and notes concerning graduation. Also papers concerning travel via Cunard Line, September 1950, including: illustrated booklets relating to embarkation and entertainment on board, menus, postcard of Cunard’s RMS Queen Elizabeth, a blank sheet of Cunard Line RMS Queen Elizabeth writing paper, and a copy of Ocean Times, published on board Cunard liners, 17 September 1950. Also: b/w snap of a gathering of people in academic dress, inscribed on back ‘Commencement Exercises Smith College 11 June 1951 – Pres.
