Most of these are inscribed on the back cover with names, presumably of friends with whom SJ attended; Vera, Ursula, Meg, Daph[ne?] and Vita – all Girton friends? [Vera Armett, Ursula Bruck, Vera Elliott, Vera Grubb, Vita Gollancz and Daphne Palmer were all Girton 1944]. Also King’s College Chapel order of service for a ‘Service of Prayer and Thanksgiving after Victory’, 1945; programme for a concert at Cambridge Guildhall 2 February 1946, inscribed on back cover ‘with John Child & co’; programme for Cambridge University Madrigal Society ‘Singing on the River under King’s College Bridge’, 14 June 1946, with list of singers, presumed to include some of SJ’s Girton contemporaries [the list includes Margaret Pitt, Ruth Jordan, and Elizabeth Odom, who were all Girton 1944].
